Got a new monitor via Black Friday shopping at Staples. 21 inches widescreen only 98 bucks with tax. If you sit too close and turn your head to fast to see the edge of the screen which ends somewhere over the horizon, you fall out of your chair. Seatbeats and safety first, I always say. Actually I have never said that, I've just always said that I say that.
Another thing that I never do is shop on or for holidaze, but my momz and my old roommate called to tell me how crazy the first Capitalmass,oops, I meant Christmas deals and people were out there yesterday; the first morning after Turkey Day. So, being crazy and a cheapskate, I crawled out of bed at the break of noon to pick up my buddy who also got the same monitor for his girlfriend. Thanks Pudu for the heads up dude. Sorry your employee buddies gave you sh!t for not forcing me to get the warranty and all the frills, like connector cords, power cords, the sales box, or glass on the monitor.
Reorganizing my Necro collection today. It's all the art from Deviants that I admired as well as are in the same vein as the work I hope and am bit by bit attempting having a go at. Watched another episode of Naruto Ship, today. Got Pudu to watch it, he's an Avatar fan. Too bad the episode sucked, they are just getting ready to have a drawn out fight for at least four episodes. Thanks a lot Dragon Ball for creating the easiest way to milk limited writing, as well as formulate the male soap opera syndrome.
Time to get back on that new Luffy Pic... here's [link] for the pencil and ink scan. I will learn vector pen in photoshop by the end of the year! I am doing it a little diff, I use the line tool (change the width for variation) and then warp and transform it. works pretty much the same, and from the pen tutorials I've seen, not too much slower. But you can always go back in the paths of a pen layer and change it and still have the clean vectors. Once you rasterize the line tool, its just another reg ol' screw up if you have to change it.
To clarify, my mom and my old roommate are two different people, or so they tell me when I pick up my meds.
